Privacy policy

This page explains, in plain words, what GymRadio.com does with your data. It covers the website at gymradio.com, the web player at play.gymradio.com, and the GymRadio.com apps for iPhone, iPad and Android.
Who we are
GymRadio.com is an Irish company. Email: support@gymradio.com. We are the data controller for the personal data described here.
What this covers
This policy covers gymradio.com, the web player at play.gymradio.com, and the GymRadio.com apps for iPhone, iPad and Android. It does not cover the websites of the gyms that use our service. If you install the app from the App Store or Google Play, the download itself is handled by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies, and we don’t see that information.

We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos, microphone audio or health data. Ad Studio generates a voice from text; it does not record you.
Services we use to run GymRadio.com
We use specialist providers to run the service. They process data for us under contracts that limit them to our instructions, and we can name them on request:

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with advertisers. Where a provider is outside the EEA, transfers rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
Marketing emails
If you start a trial we send a short series of emails about getting set up, and from time to time news about GymRadio.com. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing never affects service emails about your account or billing.
Cookies
The website sets only essential cookies until you accept analytics cookies in the banner. The player and apps keep your sign-in and settings in your browser’s or device’s storage so you stay signed in.
How long we keep data
- Account data: while your account is open, then deleted within 30 days of you deleting the account.
- Invoices and payment records: 6 years, as Irish tax law requires.
- Play reports needed for music royalties: 3 years, without your name attached where possible.
- Live chat: 2 years.
- Analytics: 14 months.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account yourself at any time from the account menu in the player or the app (Delete my account). If you have an active Pro subscription, cancel it first from your billing page, then delete. We remove your account from our sign-in system straight away and the rest of your data within 30 days, except records we must keep by law. You can also email support@gymradio.com and we will do it for you.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, and take your data elsewhere. Email support@gymradio.com and we will answer within a month. You can complain to the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie) or your local authority.
Children
GymRadio.com is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Changes
When this policy changes we update the date at the top and, for significant changes, email account holders.
